I don’t think that the porn industry will be much different in ten years as it is now. Granted there will be new ideas, and better thing to watch or play with. But the companies that are on the top of the industry now will still be on the top in ten years. They are just too big, and their reputation is what is going to keep them there. For example the Naked News website, it’s a great idea, but if that niche becomes any bigger playboy is going to have to come out with their own version of naked new, I mean which one would you watch? The generic one or the one produced by playboy? The bigger companies are just too far ahead, and have too much power within the industry.
Granted there will be a few smaller companies that grow, and become more profitable, but they will never be like playboy or hustler. Those two just have too big a hand in the porn industry, and they will never let that happen. I think the only way that it may be possible for the smaller companies is to find a filthy niche that neither playboy or hustler would risk their reputation to produce. Those may be the companies that will make some money, but in the clean classy porn nobody has a shot to catch the two corporate giants.
